Shimoda's new Top Loader is the ultimate accessory bag for photographers. It fits a mirrorless or gripless DSLR camera with a mounted medium zoom (24-70mm 2.8), or it can be expanded to fit a mounted 70-200 2.8 Lens. The bag is made of the same extremely durable and water-resistant resin-coated nylon as the Shimoda backpacks.
You can carry the Shimoda Top Loader in four different ways:
1) As a shoulder bag with the included shoulder strap
2) Attached to the chest with additional Shimoda accessory straps
3) Attached to the hip belt of a Shimoda backpack while carrying the bag
4) Attached to the hip belt independently of a Shimoda backpack
The interior features a padded divider where drone pilots can safely store their DJI Mavic, remote control and batteries. Finally, the Top Loader can be placed inside the backpack and set up for quick side access.

The Top Loader fits a camera body up to the size of a Canon 5D/Nikon D850 with a 24-70mm 2.8 Lens mounted. By opening the retractable bottom, an attached 70-200mm 2.8 will fit inside. Additionally, the bag features a vertical divider that allows you to perfectly accommodate your Mavic drone, controller and accessories.
Uniquely modular
The Top Loader is designed to be used independently or as part of the larger Shimoda system. For independent use, it can be carried with the included shoulder strap or attached to a belt. As part of the larger Shimoda system, it can be inserted into the Action X-Series through the side opening, attached to the hip belt of the backpack, or attached to the strap of the Explore/Action backpack (with optional accessory straps).
Expandable for Telephoto Zoom Lenses
The base quickly opens to allow you to carry a 70-200 2.8 Lens or a 24-70mm 2.8 with the hood extended. This option allows users to reduce the amount of gear required to carry different size Lenses when loading the bag from the top.
Front Pockets
The protected zippered front pocket allows quick storage of smaller items such as lens protectors, lens caps and other accessories.
Carbonate-coated, water-resistant materials
The Top Loader uses the same lightweight, water-resistant, carbonate PU-coated ripstop nylon as Shimoda backpacks. This ensures the same reliable and consistent quality and performance both on the trail and in the mountains. They also cut a fine figure when traveling.
