Videos that immerse the viewer in the action
The Samyang 24 mm T1.5 VDSLR ED AS IF UMC II is a fast wide-angle video lens that has been specially developed for the needs of full-frame sensors. The carefully crafted Samyang video lens is equipped with both a decoupled follow focus and aperture ring to meet the special requirements of filmmakers and videographers.

Cine-LensFeatures
The Samyang 24 mm T1.5 VDSLR ED AS IF UMC II can be used with great precision thanks to the marking of the aperture stops and distance scale. A follow focus ring makes it easy to track the focus, while the decoupled aperture can be adjusted steplessly and silently. Both the distance scale and the f-stops are clearly visible on both sides of the tube.

Optical processing
Working with the Samyang 24 mm T1.5 VDSLR ED AS IF UMC II is possible without any problems, even in poor lighting conditions. The open aperture of T1.5 captures enough light on the sensor to easily achieve top results in environments with poor light yield. This is made possible by the construction of 13 lenses arranged in 12 groups. Four "low dispersion" lenses (HR ED) skillfully avoid stray light, while two aspherical glass lenses (ASP) ensure perfect light control without ghost images and a reduction in flares. Even when the aperture is fully open, the Samyang 24 mm full-frame VDSLR lens shines with excellent image reproduction right to the edges. The excellent color reproduction and the crisp contrasts are further features that speak for the Samyang video lens. The construction is rounded off by the special Samyang Ultra Multicoating (UMC), which prevents unsightly stray light.

Use
The Samyang 24mm T1.5 II video lens is made of hardened aluminum and is therefore a loyal companion, even when things get a little rough during filming. The high lens speed of T1.5 makes it easy to crop objects. The short close-up focus distance of just 25 cm allows the viewer to literally immerse themselves in the scene. As the Samyang 24 mm is a slightly wide-angle lens, a little more is added to the image, allowing the filmmaker to spin further stories around the events in focus.
