  • Allows the use of a telephoto lens as a spotting scope
  • Prism adapter in different variants for the most common DSLR connections
  • Available as oblique or straight view as 7mm or 10mm variant

LENS2SCOPE
Use your telephoto lens also for observing and use it as a spotting scope!

In order to be able to use your Lens also for observing with a single handle, we offer the Lens2scope prism adapter. The main feature of the Lens2scope adapter is that it makes it very easy to use a telephoto lens as a spotting scope as well. It is basically designed for nature photographers who would never carry telephoto equipment AND a spotting scope. However, with the help of this adapter, not only can photography be done, but subjects can be located and observed with a minimum of extra bulk and weight.

APPLICATION
With the Lens2scope prism adapter you can use the quality of your high quality ED or APO lenses with little effort also for observing, without having to carry significant additional weight. (Depending on the variant between 185 - 245 grams) Connect the Lens2scope prism adapter instead of the camera to your Lens and it can be used as a spotting scope.

MODEL VARIANT
Lens2scope prism adapters are each available with oblique or straight viewing for the following lens mounts:

Canon EF (EF-S)
Nikon F
Sony A
Pentax K

The two model variants Lens2scope 7mm + Lens2scope 10mm differ mainly as follows:

The Lens2scope 7mm has a field of view of 60° - The Lens2scope 10mm has a field of view of 42°.
The Lens2scope 7mm has a pull-out eyecup - The Lens2scope 10mm has an inverting eyecup.
(Both variants are suitable for eyeglass wearers)

COLOR VARIANT
The aforementioned models are each available in black housing color. For the models with "Canon connection", white bodies are also available.

MAGNIFICATION FACTOR
If you lock the Lens2scope prism adapter to your photo lens, you will achieve an optical magnification corresponding to the following formula:

Focal length of the photo lens divided by focal length of the Lens2scope = magnification factor

As the name suggests, the focal length of the Lens2scope 10mm is the specified 10mm and this means that, for example, when you combine a 70-200mm F4 photo lens with the Lens2scope 10mm, you have a spotting scope with 7-20x magnification at your disposal. Accordingly, a Lens2scope 7mm gives a magnification of 10-28.6x.

USE AS A MAGNIFIER
Lens2scope prism adapters can also be used as magnifiers: When connected to a 1:1 magnifying macro lens, the Lens2scope 10mm gives you a 25x magnifier with a laterally correct image. If you combine a Lens2scope 7mm with a 1:1 magnifying macro lens, you will get a 36x magnifier with a laterally correct image.

Attention:
The Lens2scope is not compatible with lenses that do not have a manual focus adjustment, but only a "drive by wire" focusing function.

Service
To ensure that you can enjoy your product for a long time, we have set up a repair and service workshop exclusively in Germany. This avoids long waiting times and transport routes and you will usually get your product back after 7 working days.
