The magnetic filter holder is the central pivotal point of the K series from H+R. Equipped with magnetic frames, all panel filters in this series can be placed quickly and conveniently on the holder. It also comes with four adapter rings for the 67, 72, 77 and 82 mm lens threads. If even the smallest (67 mm) of the four adapter rings does not fit directly onto the Lens used, a commercially available filter adapter (e.g. 67 to 62 mm, etc.) can be screwed in between the Lens and the H+Y adapter.
The circular polarizing filter with a diameter of 95 mm is a round plug-in filter that fits exactly into the slot provided on the H+Y filter holder. It is very easy to insert or remove. The desired polarization effect is set using a small rotating ring on the side of the polarizing filter. As an option, H+Y offers several combined ND polarizing filters with different light intensities (f-stops) but the same size (Ø 95 mm). These are also plug-in filters, so that the round filter best suited to the subject situation can be inserted into the filter slot. As the magnetic flat filters are positioned in front of the round polarizing filter, the functions of all filters are retained, individually or combined. Would you like to use the great H+Y system but already have flat filters (150 x 100 mm or 100 x 100 mm)? No problem, the magnetic frames are also available without filter glasses. Standard filter holders have insertion channels to hold the filter lenses. The patented K-series from H+Y makes attaching and changing filters much more convenient and quicker: magnetism makes it possible. The K series from H+Y includes a range of rectangular and square filters with magnetic frames, which can be placed directly on the K series filter holder without the need for laborious insertion and screwing. Graduated filters can be easily moved up and down to place the horizon line of the respective image subject on the border between the gray and clear filter area. The filter holder and attached filter always sit so close to the front of the lens that no disturbing side light can penetrate between them. Several filters can also be used on top of each other. They sit firmly and reliably on the holder, but there is also a built-in lock that is easy to fix or release.

All filters in the K series are made of highly resistant Gorilla Glass 3. It is extremely scratch and impact resistant, but at the same time offers unparalleled light transmission, excellent color neutrality and also reduces reflections. The lotus effect of the AS Nano coating keeps the filters cleaner and also makes it easier to remove dirt, dust or moisture from the glass surface.
