EIZOColorEdge CG2420 and CS2420
While the ColorEdge CS2420 is the successor to the extremely successful CS240 and offers an affordable entry into the premium class of image editing monitors at an attractive price, the fully equipped ColorEdge CG2420 with its built-in calibration sensor and the included light protection screen also meets the requirements of the most demanding users.
Both the CS2420 and CG2420 use wide gamut LCD modules (IPS) with an aspect ratio of 16:10, covering 99% of the AdobeRGB color space.
Both ColorEdge monitors use a 16-bit look-up table (LUT) to achieve maximum color accuracy and depth and to avoid display errors such as banding or tonal distortion.
Every single EIZO ColorEdge is precisely calibrated at the factory. The gamma curve is pre-calibrated for each device. The homogeneity and color purity of each individual panel is measured and corrected in the factory in order to achieve an absolutely unadulterated image display
New body
The two new monitors have a slimmer body. The edge of the housing is 39% narrower compared to previous models. The illuminated sensor buttons, which can be used to operate the monitor functions, are also new.
Both ColorEdge monitors have DVI-D, HDMI and Display Port inputs. A USB 3 hub with three downstream USB ports is also included. The EIZO ColorNavigator calibration software is included. A light protection screen is also included with the CG2420 and is optionally available for the CS2420.
CG2420 with ultimate features
For particularly accurate color control, the CG2420 has a 16-BIT LUT that transfers the calibration to each individual hue with extreme precision. The differentiation of the finest color nuances thus meets the high demands of professional users in image processing and soft proofing. With its 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, the CG2420 also meets the high demands of color grading. The CG2420's True Black LCD panel guarantees an excellent contrast ratio and rich depths even in low light and at an oblique viewing angle.
The CG2420's integrated calibration sensor is precisely matched to each individual screen and is used for exact calibration and profiling. It enables automatic calibration, saving the user a lot of time by simply leaving the calibration to the monitor. The CG2420 is compatible with ColorNavigator NX and Network software, making it easy to integrate into larger color management workflows.
