  • High quality large binoculars from Celestron with 15x magnification and 70mm aperture
  • Ideal in low light and for astronomy
  • For nature and sky observations

The 15x70 is the most popular model in the SkyMaster series. It combines a large light-gathering aperture with a handy and not too heavy construction. It can be attached to a photo tripod using the included angle adapter. With its good-natured viewing behavior, it can also be used freehand for short periods (tip: hold it as close as possible to the Lens and let it rest under your eyes), it shows its full performance in combination with a tripod. The larger aperture and magnification reveal details in the sky that remain hidden in smaller devices.

Celestron SkyMaster - large binoculars at an affordable price

Large binoculars are the link between handy binoculars and large telescopes. The larger aperture allows more resolution than with smaller devices, and the binocular viewing allows relaxed observations over long periods of time. Even in poor lighting conditions, such as at dusk, they still show details, whereas smaller devices simply run out of light.

The scope of delivery also includes an adapter for photo tripods. The connection thread in the center bridge is protected by a cap.
The Celestron SkyMaster binoculars are available with apertures that can compete with many smaller telescopes - but at the same time they offer a large field of view so that you can find your targets more easily and also keep an eye on the surroundings.

Astronomical quality

Do you want to observe distant targets on earth or astronomical targets in the sky? SkyMaster binoculars are perfect for both tasks.

All binoculars have a built-in tripod adapter to ensure that the image does not wobble during observation. This allows you to mount them on a ball head or - even better - a two-way or three-way panhead without an additional adapter. Carrying bag and strap round off the package. Of course, all SkyMaster binoculars have diopter compensation. The devices with 70 or 80mm aperture are conveniently focused via a central drive, while the 25x100 has individual eyepiece focusing.
With an optional camera mount such as the Baader Planetarium MicroStage II, you can also take photos through the binoculars.

Many possibilities and combinations

Large binoculars with more than ten times magnification can only be used freehand for a short time. With a tripod, the binoculars have a stable hold and you can observe in a relaxed manner. With the high magnification of the SkyMaster binoculars, a tripod with fine gears is helpful; a tilt head is generally better than a simple ball head, as it is more suitable for panning.

If the binoculars are mounted on a tripod, you can also take photos with a digital camera through one of the eyepieces - this is particularly convenient with a MicroStage camera mount, with which a compact camera can be perfectly aligned behind the eyepiece and swiveled to the side without losing alignment.

Camouflage backpack

The Celestron Optics Backpack protects your spotting scope or travel telescope from the elements and makes quick action easy - whenever the sky allows it. The large inner compartment even offers enough space for an 80mm spotting scope such as the Regal M2 (without eyepiece), which is securely held upright by two of the four Velcro straps. A second pair of Velcro straps next to it hold another piece of equipment (this could also be a large camera lens or a thermos flask) without the rucksack being anywhere near the end of its capacity.

The numerous outer pockets offer enough space to store all kinds of accessories safely and within easy reach - from cleaning utensils, eyepieces and adapters to small binoculars. Overlapping fabric lips protect the sturdy zippers from rainwater.

The quick-release straps at the bottom of the rucksack hold a tripod or ISO mat (or both). The mesh pocket on the inside offers sufficient storage space for papers, books, cell phone or tablet. The PALS strips on the front outside can be used to attach additional pockets as required.

The adjustable, padded shoulder straps allow you to carry even heavy luggage over longer distances without any problems and, in addition, the length-adjustable hip belt with click fastener can almost completely take over the load of the shoulder straps. This allows you to carry heavy equipment from the hips without straining your upper body. All accessory straps have quick-release fasteners, can be adjusted in no time at all and distribute the weight optimally.

The Celestron optics backpack is an ideal aid for reaching the most remote observation sites and, above all, for always being ready to go.
