  • Round filters for black and white photography
  • Optimization of gray tones for expressive images
  • Available as yellow, orange and red filters
  • MRC coating
  • Suitable for analog and digital cameras
  • Made in Germany

B+W black-and-white filters are, as the name suggests, mainly used in black-and-white photography.
Yellow filters, for example, can help landscape photographs to become more brilliant and better differentiate plant greenery, yellow and orange filters can conjure clouds and cloud mountains out of little clouds, red filters can even increase them to dramatic thunderstorm intensity or create moonlight effects during the day.

TIP
On digital cameras with black-and-white mode, the contrast enhancements can be achieved in this way directly during the exposure.

BASIC Orange 550 (040)
This B+W 040 Orange Filter 550, which is already very powerful, darkens violet and blue very strongly, green strongly and even yellow-green somewhat. Landscape and architectural photographs show an increased, almost "graphic" contrast, cloudy skies can already appear dramatic.
